The roadway is reduced to one lane. Speed restrictions are in force. There is a width limit in effect . Speed limit 55 mph . Width limit 11'0" . Left lane closed in the northbound direction of travel. Until November 27, 2026 at about 6:00AM CDT. Comment: Nighttime construction work on I-65 south of State Road 2 in the northbound direction will begin on September 28, 2026 and is anticipated to be complete by November. Northbound I-65 will be patched and resurfaced from Mile Marker 237.8 to Mile Marker 240. The inside lane and shoulder will be closed from approximately 8 PM to 6 AM for approximately two weeks. The outside lane and shoulder will then be closed for the following two weeks. During ongoing construction from 8 PM to 6 AM, the maximum width will be reduced to 11 feet. A temporary speed reduction to 55 mph will be in effect for the duration of this project. Please use caution when approaching this location. Expect delays, and stay alert for construction vehicles entering and exiting the work site.

Between 153rd Ave (4 miles south of the Crown Point area) and 205th Ave (6 miles north of the Roselawn area). Night time construction work is in progress. The road is being repaved. People are working in the median. There is a width limit in effect . Speed restrictions are in force. Speed limit 55 mph . Width limit 11'0" . Left lane closed in the southbound direction of travel. Until November 27, 2026 at about 6:00AM CDT. Comment: Construction work on I-65 south of SR 2 in both northbound and southbound directions will be ongoing from August 2nd through October to patch and resurface asphalt pavement. This work consists of 4 phases anticipated to take two weeks each to complete. During the first phase, the inside lane and shoulder of southbound I-65 will be closed at night from approximately 8 PM to 6 AM, reducing the maximum width to 11 feet. Southbound I-65 will be patched and resurfaced from Mile Marker 237.8 to Mile Marker 240, and pavement markings and RPM’s will be replaced up to the Lowell Weigh Station at Mile Marker 241. Drainage improvement work will also be conducted along the shoulders and median during the daytime hours. Shoulders will be closed, but a minimum of 2 travel lanes will remain open in both directions. A temporary speed reduction to 55 mph will be in effect for the duration of this project. Speed restrictions are in force. Speed limit 55 mph . Left lane closed in both directions of travel. Until October 30, 2026 at about 12:00PM EDT. Comment: Lane restrictions are in place to remediate the rideability in this area and punchlist work. At times traffic could see only 2 lanes open per bound and restricted even further down to 1 lane per bound. Motorists should expect delays, reduce speed in the work area, and follow all posted signs and directions from traffic personnel. NB lane closure will start North of the Wabash River and extend to CR600N. SB will start just south of CR725N (2 lanes open to 3 lanes) and extend to the Swisher Road overpass. These closures will be in place from 7/29/2026 through 8/14/2026.We appreciate the publics patience and cooperation as this work is completed safely.
