Beginning Monday, April 27th, 2026, until further notice: Both directions of SR 504 at milepost 45.0 remain CLOSED at the winter gate for construction to rebuild the bridge and roadway. Construction is expected to be complete in spring 2027.

The Forest Learning Center Rest Area on SR 504/Spirit Lake Memorial Highway (milepost 33) is open seasonally during the spring and summer months from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Rest Area access and hours may change.
