Bridge work on VT-242 in Jay between Mtn View Dr and Beadle Hill Rd. Expect lane closures with a temporary signal in the area. Also expect delays and workers in and about the roadway between 7 am and 5 pm Mon-Fri. 12-foot lane restriction from May 12th, 2026, to June 12th, 2026.

Construction on VT-191, Newport City

Please be advised that on Monday July 6th, Winterset Construction will be starting a project to remove the existing bridge pavement, perform concrete repairs to the deck/fascia/sidewalk/headers, installing waterproofing membrane and re-paving VT-191 (Access Rd) will be closed from Western Ave to US5 for the duration of the project. There will be a signed detour via Western Ave to East Main Street (US5) to Causeway Road (US5).
