Road Work - Planned on I-75 Southbound Ramp (Exit 1A) to Second Street

On or after Tuesday, June 30, the ramp from I-75 South to Second Street (Exit 1A) will be closed at 11 p.m. to start demolition. Traffic will be detoured by way of W. 5th Street (Exit 1C) and Race Street to Second Street. This is a permanent closure, and the ramp will be replaced with a new ramp to 3rd Street, with access to 2nd Street. Detour: From 2026-06-30 to 2031-12-30, between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM, Follow the Fifth Street/Downtown exit (Exit 1C) and continue onto Fifth Street. From Fifth Street, turn right onto Race Street and follow this to Second Street.
