Road Work - Planned on Westbound SR 2 at SR 269

Westbound State Route 2, at State Route 269, will be closed for overhead bridge repairs beginning Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9. Westbound traffic will be detoured using the SR 269 ramps to get off and back on. Detour: From 2026-10-05 to 2026-10-09, between 07:00 PM and 06:00 AM, Westbound SR-2 will be completely closed to all traffic at Exit 125A-B (the northbound SR-269 interchange) so crews can perform bridge repairs, specifically girder heat-straightening. During the closure, westbound traffic will be detoured by exiting onto Northbound SR-269, going through the roundabout, and then looping back to re-enter Westbound SR-2 using the SR-269 southbound to westbound SR-2 ramp on the opposite side of the bridge. Detour: From 2026-10-05 to 2026-10-09, between 07:00 PM and 06:00 AM, Eastbound SR-2 to Northbound SR-269 Ramp Closed. Detour SR-2 Eastbound Exit to SR-53 North. SR-53 Northbound to SR-163 Eastbound. SR-163 Eastbound to SR-269 Southbound.
