US-40 — Paving Operations

Between Moonlight Way (1 mile west of the Steamboat Springs area) and County Road 29 (5 miles west of the Hayden area) from Mile Point 127.3 to Mile Point 100.4. Paving operations. Starting today at 7:00PM MDT until tomorrow at about 6:00AM MDT. Full schedule below: • September 15, 7:00PM - September 16, 6:00AM Comment: Work includes barrier placement for the slope stabilization and work on the bridge at MP 113 on the west end of the project limits. Nighttime hours will be 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Vehicles will be reduced to a single-lane, alternating traffic intermittently in either direction, throughout the duration of the project Lane closures, guided by flaggers, will have up to 10-minute delays. The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph through the work zone. The project is expected to last until the middle of November.
