I-80 westbound: Between Exit 448: 84th Street and Exit 445: L Street.
Between Exit 448: 84th Street and Exit 445: L Street (Omaha). The road is closed because of night time construction work. See map for detour(s). All lanes are closed in the westbound direction of travel. Until Thursday, at about 6:00AM CDT. Comment: Sept. 11, 2026 (Omaha, Neb.) — Weather permitting, overnight road closures will begin Monday, Sept. 14, through Thursday, Sept.17, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Interstate 80 (I-80), from reference post 447 to reference post 445, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Westbound I-80 will be closing at the Interstate 680 (I-680) interchange and traffic will be diverted to the I-L-Q Street ramp. Iowa Civil Contracting, of Victor, Iowa, is the contractor for this project. Work includes pavement repairs, diamond grinding, and penetrating sealants.
