I-80 in both directions: Construction work.

Between MM 71 (10 miles west of the Chappell area) and Chappell Link (near Chappell). Look out for construction work. There are alternating lane closures. Right lane closed in the eastbound direction of travel. Until October 31, 2026 at about 5:00PM MDT. Comment: Work began Sept. 1 on Interstate 80 (I-80), from mile marker 74 to mile marker 85, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Work includes concrete joint repair, penetrating concrete sealer and new pavement marking. Traffic will be maintained by intermittent lane closures, signs, arrow boards and cones.
