TRAFFIC ALERT: Work begins Sept. 1 during the day (7am - 6pm) Mon - Fri. Motorists can expect daytime traffic shifts while work is underway. One lane in each direction will be maintained. During working hours, expect a 12-foot width restriction and a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH. Cyclists are encouraged to avoid the area. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and watch for traffic barrels directing them into the open lanes. BACKGROUND: UDOT will be implementing a new eastbound (EB) passing lane near the Sand Hollow Resort on State Route 7 (Southern Parkway) in Washington County.
