TRAFFIC ALERT: Work occurs during daytime hours (7am - 6pm) Mon - Fri. Paving operations will occur Oct. 13 - Oct. 16 (subject to change due to weather). Motorists can expect traffic shifts with one lane in each direction maintained. Milling operations will occur October 19, which will require a rolling slow down with a reduced speed of 40 MPH. Please slow down and pay attention to construction signage. During working hours, expect a 12-foot width restriction and a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH. Cyclists are encouraged to avoid the area. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and watch for traffic barrels directing them into the open lanes. BACKGROUND: UDOT will be implementing a new eastbound (EB) passing lane near the Sand Hollow Resort on State Route 7 (Southern Parkway) in Washington County.
