TRAFFIC ALERT: Work begins Aug. 17 with day- and nighttime operations. Crews will be working from 7am - 5pm during the day to upgrade ADA ramps that requires occasional turn lane closures to provide safety for crews. This work will also require partial closures at side street intersections - please see website for more information. Crews will also be working at night from 7pm - 5am with shifting lane closures to prepare for paving operations. At least 1 lane in both directions will remain open. Motorists can expect light to moderate noise. BACKGROUND: UDOT is resurfacing SR-171 from 2700 E to I-215. This paving process will preserve the life of the road and enhance motorist safety.
