**TRAFFIC ALERT* Pony Express Road As early as 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, through 5 p.m., crews will be drilling on Pony Express Road between 12300 S. and 12650 S. as part of ongoing construction activities. ?Residents and motorists in the area may experience intermittent noise and vibration during work activities. During this time, traffic on Pony Express Road between 12300 S. and 12650 S. will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers directing one-way traffic. *TRAFFIC ALERT** I-15 Between 12300 S. and Bangerter Hwy. Motorists should expect overnight intermittent lane shifts and closures on I-15 between 12300 S. and Bangerter Hwy. from 9 p.m. through the early morning hours on Wednesday, August 26, Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28. ------------------------------------------------- The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is installing a new Variable Message Sign (VMS) above southbound I-15 between 12300 South and Bangerter Highway. The overhead sign will provide real-time travel information, such as traffic conditions, incidents, weather impacts, and travel advisories, to improve communication with drivers and support safer, more informed travel decisions. This project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance mobility, safety, and traffic management along the I-15 corridor. Construction is scheduled to begin on July 20, 2026.
