SR 16

UDOT will replace two aging bridges and some pipe culverts along SR-16 in Rich County. The temporary signal at Francis Road will be deactivated over the July 24th holiday weekend to better help holiday traffic. Alert: Motorists can expect delays as SR-16 will be reduced to one-way traffic that will be controlled by temporary signals. The project team has optimized the signal timing and motorists can expect delays of up to 10 minutes or 3 light cycles. One-way traffic will be in place through the winter. Truck widths: 11' foot lanes, wide loads restricted through 2026.
