TRAFFIC ALERTS 10/19 – 10/21 on I-80

TRAFFIC ALERTS 10/19 – 10/21 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., westbound I-80 will be reduced to two lanes daily for barrier work. Plan for delays, slow down, and follow all posted traffic signs. Nightly lane closures are no longer expected. One more overnight double lane closure will take place in October. PROJECT OVERVIEW Construction is ongoing on I-80 between SR-65 (East Canyon Road) to Lambs Canyon. This work will provide a smoother ride for drivers and extend the life of the roadway. Construction is anticipated to be completed by fall 2026.
