SR 224

High Valley Transit SR-224 (The Bobsled Express) is a bus rapid transit construction project that spans seven-miles from Kimball Junction to Park City Old Town. The project will include segments of dedicated bus lanes as well as new stations along the corridor. Construction got underway in 2026 and is scheduled to be complete summer 2028. 2026 work includes utility upgrades, median removal and replacements, roadway widening and station construction. During construction, travelers can expect periodic lane shifts, shoulder closures, and changing traffic patterns. The project will maintain two-lanes of travel in each direction whenever possible. Work will be paused over the winter months.
