SR 106

...

TRAFFIC ALERT: Lanes are reduced to 10 ft wide throughout work zones. Crews are working on the east side of Main Street and behind the curb on the west. Driveways and sidewalks are being prepped and placed from 947 N to 1189 N. 900 N opens back up early next week and residents can access Main Street once more. ------ Expect alternate northbound and southbound traffic controlled by a temp signal between 947 N and 715 N on Main. Detours in place - plan ahead! Adhere to posted signage and follow the speed limit to keep you and our crews safe! --- The project is using one-way traffic signals to manage vehicle flow through the work zones. Drivers using driveways and access points within the project area are advised to wait for vehicles traveling in the direction of their destination before safely re-entering the travel lane. --- Project Overview: This project will improve drainage and add pedestrian facilities to SR-106 (Main Street) in Farmington between Park Lane and Shepard Lane. As part of the project, pedestrian ramps will be removed and replaced to meet current ADA standards. The top layer of asphalt will be milled and replaced with new pavement, and a consistent shoulder width will be provided between Shepard Lane and Park Lane.
