BACKGROUND: The I-84 Weber River Bridge Replacement project is fully replacing two bridges originally constructed in the 1960s that cross the Weber River. Once replaced, these bridges will continue to play a vital role in assisting Weber Canyon travelers. Work in 2026 includes construction of new EB Bridge and the demolition of the old bridges. Once complete, the Westbound bridge will be constructed through early Winter 2027. Final close-out work is anticipated through early Spring 2028.
