I-15 Shepard Lane Interchange Improved --- NB & SB I-15 Overnight Lane Closures – Up to three lanes on NB and SB I-15 will close nightly 8/24 through 9/12 between North Station Lane in Farmington and Parrish Lane in Centerville for bridge work. Lanes close at 9 p.m. and open by 7 a.m. --- Nightly Ramp Closures at Park Lane – Starting 9/8 to 9/21, the following ramps will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for pedestrian bridge work: SB I-15 off-ramp to Legacy Pkwy and the NB I-15 off-ramp, SB I-15 off-ramp, and SB I-15 on-ramp at Park Lane. See project website for detour routes or follow detour signage. --- New Interchange Open – North Station Lane interchange opened on Monday, June 29. All on- and off-ramps are open except the SB I-15 on-ramp, which is closed until further notice while crews work to improve the merge onto I-15. --- TRAFFIC SHIFT – Northbound and southbound I-15 travel lanes between Burton Lane in Kaysville and State Street in Farmington are shifted to the median through winter 2025/2026. Drivers should use caution in the work zone. ------ PROJECT BACKGROUND: UDOT is constructing a new interchange along I-15 at Shepard Lane in Farmington and improving pedestrian and bike connectivity along Park Lane. Construction is anticipated to end in 2026. Drivers should expect daytime work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekend and night work as needed, and intermittent lane closures on I-15 and US-89.?
