I-15 Shepard Lane Interchange Improved --- SB I-15 Overnight Off-Ramp and Lane Closures – The off-ramp and three right lanes on SB I-15 at North Station Lane in Farmington will close from 11 p.m. 10/16 to 5 a.m. 10/17 for striping work. --- Legacy Parkway to NB I-15 Ramp Lane Closure - The right lane of the Legacy Parkway off-ramp to NB I-15 in Farmington will close 10/12 through 11/6 for paving and barrier work. --- SB I-15 Off-Ramp Closure - The southbound I-15 off-ramp to North Station Lane in Farmington will close from 11 p.m. 10/9 to 6 a.m. 10/10 for striping. --- NB/SB US-89 Nightly Lane Closures – Up to two lanes will be closed nightly on NB and SB US-89 near Park Lane in Farmington 10/8 and 10/9 for pedestrian bridge work. The lane closures will start as early as 7 p.m. and end by 7 a.m. --- NB & SB I-15 Overnight Lane Closures – Expect up to three lanes closed overnight on NB or SB I-15 between North Station Lane in Farmington and Parrish Lane in Centerville 10/5–10/9 for lane striping. The Legacy Parkway off-ramp to NB I-15 will also be reduced to one lane. Crews will work on NB I-15 for two to three nights, starting 10/5. When NB I-15 is complete, crews will work on SB I-15 for two to three nights. Lanes will begin closing at 9 p.m. and reopen by 7 a.m. --- Nightly Ramp Closures at Park Lane - Starting 9/28 through 10/2, 10/4 through 10/7, and 10/16, the NB I-15 off-ramp at Park Lane and the SB I-15 on-ramp at Park Lane will close for work on the ramp islands. EB Park Lane will also be reduced to one lane. The nightly closures will start as early as 10 p.m. and by 7 a.m. See project website for detour routes or follow detour signage. --- New Interchange Open – North Station Lane interchange opened on Monday, June 29. All on- and off-ramps are open except the SB I-15 on-ramp, which is closed until further notice while crews work to improve the merge onto I-15. --- TRAFFIC SHIFT – Northbound and southbound I-15 travel lanes between Burton Lane in Kaysville and State Street in Farmington are shifted to the median through winter 2025/2026. Drivers should use caution in the work zone. ------ PROJECT BACKGROUND: UDOT is constructing a new interchange along I-15 at Shepard Lane in Farmington and improving pedestrian and bike connectivity along Park Lane. Construction is anticipated to end in 2026. Drivers should expect daytime work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekend and night work as needed, and intermittent lane closures on I-15 and US-89.
