US 6: Utility work.

Between MM 80 and Spyglass Street (1 to 2 miles west of the McCook area). Utility work is in progress. Watch for workers. Width limit 13'0" . Until November 1, 2026 at about 3:30PM CDT. Comment: Weather permitting, work will begin Sept. 14 on a project to install roadway cameras. The cameras are intended to monitor roadway and weather conditions and are not intended to monitor individual motorists. The live camera feeds will be incorporated into Nebraska’s 511 Traveler Information network, allowing the public to view current roadway conditions and make informed travel decisions.
