Road Work - Planned on SR 18 & SR 511 Intersection

The SR 18 and SR 511 intersection will close Thursday, June 4 for an intersection improvement project. The project will convert the current two-way stop-controlled intersection into a single lane roundabout. The goal is to have the intersection open before the Lorain County Fair. Detour: From 2026-06-04 to 2026-09-11, between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM, Traffic on SR 511 will be detoured to SR 162 east to SR 58 north to U.S. 20 west to SR 511 and reverse. Detour: From 2026-06-04 to 2026-09-11, between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM, Traffic on SR 18 will be detoured to SR 58 north in the village of Wellington to U.S. 20 west to SR 60 (S River St) south in the village of Wakeman to SR 18 and reverse.
