Construction on 504

Beginning Monday, April 27, until further notice: Crews are rebuilding the SR 504 Spirit Lake Outlet Bridge over South Coldwater Creek between mileposts 49-49.24. The road remains closed beyond the winter gate due to the May 14, 2023, debris slide that destroyed the bridge. Work includes building a new bridge, replacing guardrails and adding lane markings. Once finished, access to upper reaches of the highway and Johnston Ridge Observatory will be restored.
