Northbound and southbound traffic will alternate near Garrison Road (milepost 95) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 2-3, for paving work near the railroad tracks. Expect delays in the area. This work needs dry weather and may be rescheduled. This work is part of a project <a href=""https://wsdot.wa.gov/construction-planning/search-projects/sr-9-park-road-vicinity-and-sr-547-saar-creek-sumas-river-paving"">repaving sections of SR 9 and SR 547</a> in Whatcom County.
