US 81 in both directions: Road maintenance operations.

At NE 98 (12 miles north of the Norfolk area). Road maintenance work is in progress. There are alternating lane closures. Portable traffic signals in use. Until September 30, 2026 at about 6:00PM CDT. Comment: Work includes installation of CCTV towers and cameras, electrical conduit and related electrical installations, and seeding operations. Traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic control devices throughout construction. Anticipated to be completed Sept. 2026.
