Between Finney County Line/Haskell County Line (13 miles south of the Garden City area) and US 50 Business (near Garden City). Road construction work is in progress. Speed limit 55 mph . Until November 19, 2027 at about 11:59PM CDT. Comment: This project is a highway reconstruction project from TV Rd north to the Arkansas River bridge at Garden City. There are multiple phases on the project. The project construction work continues as dirt work is currently happening along the existing US-83 from Annie Scheer Rd north to the Arkansas River bridge. The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph in this area. Be alert for construction work zone signs, equipment and workers. Construction traffic, including trucks and equipment will be entering and exiting the roadway throughout the project.
