Between Hoffman Rd and Lumpkin Rd (5 to 6 miles north of the Jasper area). Bridge construction work is in progress. There are alternating lane closures. Look out for temporary traffic lights. There is a width limit in effect . Speed limit 45 mph . Width limit 12'0" . Until October 10, 2026 at about 11:59PM EDT. Comment: US 231 over unt to Slate creek, 2.43 miles North of state road 56, will be reduced to one lane with a 12' width restriction for a small structure replacement.
